  • Tide Tales : 18 - 21 September

    Tide Tales is a series of short new works written, directed and featuring members of the Riptide ensemble.

    Coming to Mandurah Performing Arts Centre from 18 to 21 September 2019, four young writers will be mentored by the Australian Theatre for Young People to create an original 30 minute piece of writing each.

    Four young directors will then be paired to a script to bring the works to life with performers. An exciting project with Australian Theatre for Young People, this is one not to be missed.

  • Peter Pan : 25 - 29 September

    All children, except one, grow up

    When a mysterious boy named Peter Pan and his fairy, Tinkerbell, fly into the nursery of the Darling children, an adventure like no other begins…

    Join Wendy, John and Michael as they are spirited away to Neverland, where an ongoing war between Peter and his mischievous gang of Lost Boys and the evil pirate Captain Hook is taking place.

    In this creative adaptation of J.M Barrie’s classic where fairies roam, sinister mermaids gladly take you to the depths and a giant crocodile stalks the island, Peter Pan brings to life the adventurous spirit in all of us.

  • Picasso and his Dog : 8 - 10 October

    A beautifully crafted work for family audiences coming to Mandurah Performing Arts Centre fro 8 - 10 October 2019, carefully walking the line between delighting young people with puppy/puppetry antics, and providing a sophisticated insight into how an artist can be inspired by the animal muse. It is visually beautiful, intelligent, funny and moving.

    One fine spring morning during 1957, a sausage dog named Lump arrived at the home of Pablo Picasso. He looked into the eyes of the artist and decided he was home. Combining puppetry and live performance, ‘Picasso and His Dog’ is based on a true story of a man and his dog, deep love and the art their wonderful friendship inspired.

  • Cats the Musical : 10 - 13 October

  • Western Australian Pro Surf Series : 19 - 22 October

    Surf's up in Mandurah this October!

    WSL Australia / Oceania along with Surfing Western Australia have announced that the Western Australian Pro Surf Series will return in 2019.

    WA will once again host an international field at consecutive men's and women's QS1,000 events to be held in Mandurah and Yallingup between the 19th and 27th of October.

    The first event of the series, the Mandurah Pro, will take place from 19 to 22 October 2019 at one of WA's favorite holiday destinations.

    A place renowned for its amazing boating and water sport lifestyle, Mandurah offers some incredible options for surf regardless of the conditions, as seen at the inaugural event in 2018.

    The WA Pro Surf Series will reignite the race for the WSL Australia / Oceania Regional Qualifying Series with the winner of each season gaining a seed into the major QS events in the opening half of 2020. With only 3 events left on the calendar, the WA Pro Surf Series events will have massive implications in the career of an up and coming QS surfers.

    It won't only be a great opportunity for traveling QS competitors as local WA surfers will be given the chance to take it to the best surfers in the Asia Pacific region.

    The WA Pro Surf Series has been made possible thanks to a successful partnership between Surfing WA, WSL, City of Mandurah, Visit Mandurah, City of Busselton, and the Western Australian Government, through Tourism WA.

  • Peel Open Studios : 2 - 17 November

    Peel Open Studios 2019 offers a rare chance to visit private art studios, often not open to the public, meet artists and view their works in progress.

    Stretching from Mandurah to Dwellingup, Pinjarra to Waroona, visitors will be able to explore the beautiful Peel region of WA, whilst visiting established and emerging artists working across many art disciplines.

  • Confluence Festival : 6 & 7 November

    For the very first time, Confluence Festival of Indian Arts in Australia comes to Mandurah for two days in November, bringing a rich tapestry of Indian arts, Bollywood film, dance, yoga, guided meditation and much more.

    At the heart of Confluence will be the Words on Water program, an international gathering of acclaimed writers, thinkers, and change makers coming together on one stage to engage in thoughtful debate and dialogue.

    This unique celebration of literature, arts and culture is brought to Australia by Teamwork Arts India, producers of the global literary phenomenon that is the Jaipur Literature Festival.

  • DAMI IM : 15 November

    Australia’s most revered pop artist of the new millennium, Dami Im, is set to take her all new national tour on the road in 2019... coming to Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on 15 November 2019.

    Bringing her exciting band along, concertgoers can expect to see something special in Dami’s live show; an array of established hits and fan favourites from X Factor, power ballad and international Eurovision smash, “Sound of Silence” and a mix of new material including ‘Dreamer’.

    Dami Im has amassed a multitude of hits and achievements during her relatively short career. She first came to national prominence when she won season five of The X Factor in 2013 and strode straight into the #1 spot on the ARIA charts with her platinum, self-titled album DAMI IM.
